Responsible for the strategy of International and Local Equities on a 13 billion USD worth portfolio, the ESG metrics implementation in Chilean companies, the implementation of Aladdin (BlackRock portfolio management system), and member of the Asset Allocation committee. Reported to the CIO, leading a 9 people team. • Led the implementation and monitoring of quantitative models of international and local equities through factors to systematize the discussion and better understand the change in strategy. In addition, this allowed to comprehend whether the performance of the portfolio was due to strategy or implementation. • Introduced the gold miners ETF in the international portfolio generating a great diversifying effect, and reducing potential losses by 30% in the event of abrupt market declines.

Responsible for the strategy of International Equities Funds and Balanced funds, managing 500 million dollars, reporting the results of the funds management to BICE Bank board of directors. Reported to the CIO, leading a 3 people team. • Actively incorporated currency management in Balanced funds as one more asset within the fixed income and equity portfolio which was one of the pillars to obtain the Fund Pro 2018 awards for the Most Aggressive category and the Aggressive category. • Included factor management in the portfolio of the North America Equities BICE fund and sectors through ETFs. Won the Fund Pro Award and the Salmon Award 2018.

Responsible for the balanced funds strategy, managing 1 billion USD, reporting the fund management results to the administrator's board of directors. Member of the global Asset Allocation team based in UK. Reported to the CIO, leading a 3 people team. • Proposed the incorporation of small cap Chile stocks to the portfolios taking advantage of the local team skills. • Incorporated Latin American stocks, taking advantage of the regional team skills which will function as a pair trade with domestic stocks. • Managed to triple the assets under management that the balanced funds had which went from 300 million to 1,000 million under my supervision. • Added currency management as one more asset in the portfolio, mainly focused on yen, euro, dollar, Mexican peso, real, and Chilean peso. This management helped structure more robust portfolios to face volatile markets. • Won the award for the best Balanced Fund Manager 2013.

Responsable de la estrategia de inversión accionaria extranjera administrando 11 mil millones de dólares, reporte de la gestión al directorio de la AFP. Reportó al Gerente de Renta Variable. Lideró equipo de 4 personas.  Implementé el modelo de selección de tamaño entre acciones small cap y large cap US basado en variables macro de la economía americana y global.  Actualicé el modelo de selección de fondos mutuos incluyendo métricas de riesgo y de factores para poder segmentar de mejor manera el universo de inversión.

Responsable de la estrategia de inversión accionaria de Asia Emergente basada en country allocation y fund selection.

Responsable de Risk Monitoring y Performance Attributtion de los multifondos para los activos de renta variable, renta fija y monedas. Implementé sistema de riesgo el cual determinó la cantidad de riesgo que estaba tomando cada equipo de la gerencia de inversiones.  Implementé sistema de información bajando el tiempo de procesamiento de datos de 16 horas a 30 minutos.
