As the Chief Technology Officer for Absolute Rest, I am responsible for architecting the infrastructure and applications to deliver great sleep to our clients.I am also a software developer and experience designer focused on next-generation extended reality (XR) technologies. At Z3VR, I have worked with leading academic and scientific institutions to develop behavioral intervention and research tools for people living with schizophrenia, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), and long-term isolation. I also led development of a VR exercise and meditation application with real-time biofeedback, built a platform to pull real-time data from any GATT-compliant Bluetooth Low Energy biosensor, integrated the application with NASA exercise equipment, designed wearable biosensors for prototyping purposes, and wrote all technical documentation.Before Z3VR I delivered the front-end software for the neurocognitive testing battery at BrainCheck, a Houston-based startup valued at $50 million as of June 2020. In that capacity I wrote the code for all neurocognitive tasks, architected the front-end stack to minimize latency, implemented all data analysis and performance assessment algorithms, and carried out user testing to refine the user experience.I have also directed several highly polished games as the head of Touch Fuzzy Games, and I have done consulting work for clients including the World Bank, the American Heart Association, the American Diabetes Association, the City of Austin, and the Seton Family of Hospitals.
