Roberto 'Pena' Spinelli is a physicist from USP (University of São Paulo) and a researcher in the field of Artificial Intelligence, with specialization in Machine Learning from Stanford University and Deeplearning.AI. He is the founder of PandorIA, a research group focused on the impacts of Artificial Intelligence on society, aiming to find pathways to ensure a safe and beneficial future for humans.Pena is also a science communicator, contributing for a decade to the Scicast podcast on science, and he collaborated with Manual do Mundo for 5 years, having built one of the most daring projects on YouTube, the Ariranha Submarine, for the channel. Together with Vitor Moreira, he presented courses and activities on Artificial Intelligence at SESC Paulista, including the classic Turing Test conducted on a machine they programmed to mimic a human.Currently, he also works as a consultant on AI projects and creates his own technological inventions, showcasing his creativity and ingenuity on his YouTube channel, Caramelo Biônico.
