Roberto has obtained his law degree at the “University of Rome” and spent a two years period of studies with exams at the University of Hamburg and the Max-Planck-Institute for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg. He also gained an LL.M. at the Columbia University of New York, a Doctorate (PhD) at the University Rome/Macerata and attended a 3-weeks intensive course at INSEAD (Fontainebleau) on valuation of undertakings. He has worked for many years with Anglo-American international law practices as a senior associate and partner and worked as the M&A Project Manager at a German multinational company based in Munich. Roberto has extensively counselled International clients in corporate, M&A, banking, tax and regulatory matters. Since 2007 he specialized in the field of renewables. He actively assisted clients in all matters involving renewables projects in Italy, either from the infrastructure and the corporate/tax/banking point of view, as well as with regard to the operation agreements like O&Ms and EPCs. He is currently assisting clients in the secondary market of the sale and purchase of renewable companies and plants. Moreover, he is counselling in the restructuring of existing renewable investments from the operational and financing point of view as well as in new projects for self-consumption and the direct sale and trading of electricity generated from renewables. Roberto is the representative of the Italian-German Chamber of Commerce in Rome and in the Lazio Region and he is among the members of its Arbitrator’s list of the Chamber of Commerce (AHK Italien).
