With over 6 years of combined experience in the healthcare and military sectors, I am a doctoral student at Alliant International University pursuing a PsyD in Clinical Psychology. My goal is to apply my knowledge and skills to help individuals and communities cope with mental health challenges and improve their well-being.As an aerospace medical technician at the California Air National Guard, I provide emergency medical care, health education, and preventive services to the personnel and their families. I am certified in CPR, EMT-B, and first aid, and I have developed strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills. Previously, I served in the US Marine Corps as an anti-tank missileman, where I learned valuable professional skills such as discipline, critical thinking, and problem-solving. I also participated in academic and extracurricular projects as an undergraduate research assistant at UC Davis and a community service volunteer at BMCC, where I earned the Dean's List and Academic Achiever honors.
