General Support & Administration:• Maintain and support network infrastructure, including both physical & virtual servers and switches. Managed services such as M365, AD, DHCP, Print, File, and AWS. Responsible for assistance in outage restoration and RCA.• Leverage tools such as Azure AD, MS Admin Consoles (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, etc.) to provide resolutions on issues.• Responsible for training new members of IT as well as assisting in updating and defining roles and responsibilities for those members working on our helpdesk team.Process Improvements:• Successfully completed the full integration of acquired branch office to align IT business processes and standards defined by corporate. • Member of a team responsible for the virtualization of physical servers and consolidation physical servers into central data centers. Managed Data Consolidation project which migrated data into centralized data centers. Data accessibility, security and backups have all improved. The completed project resulting in a 416K worth of cost savings in 3 years.• Reduced tape based backup systems at 40% of the locations by leveraging remote and disk based backup technologies improving overall backup coverage and reliability.• Trained Service Desk and local IT support personnel on procedures to help resolve common tickets escalated to the server team. Tickets and tasks sent to Server Team were reduced by more than ½ and customers saw issues resolved within a couple hours.

• Managed a 3-person IT support team that provided service to over 150 users consisting of engineers, scientists, and manufacturing technicians who developed tools and technologies for the oilfield and department of defense.• Lead project to modernize IT infrastructure of the facility and branch offices. This included replacement of all infrastructure cabling, relocation and upgrade of server room, replacement of network, server and backup systems, backup power systems, as well as physical access & surveillance systems. This provided a stable and reliable working environment that has allowed for the continuous expansion of operations for the Research, Engineering and Manufacturing departments.• Using Lean Six Sigma principles, designed new IT office with work and storage area. Was awarded winner of both regional and worldwide Schlumberger IT-Lean competition for efficiency.• Served as Site Security officer; Regularly performed IT security audits and provided users with IT Security Training. IT Awareness campaign reduced the number of IT security incidents by nearly 90%.

• Integrated Crestron room automation systems into conference rooms. Created touch screen interface that allowed room to be automatically configured to accommodate different types of events ranging from simple meeting to large symposium events. • Assisted Manufacturing and R&E departments in the creation of modular rack mounted test & acquisition stations. • Improved overall efficiency of the roll out process of Dell Laptops and Desktops. This included the creation of a “Standard Image” to use as a baseline for PC deployments, the creation of silent installation scripts to automate the installation of 3rd party application and Microsoft patches and a standard PC roll-out procedure all of which was ultimately deployed and used in other Schlumberger locations throughout the world.
