I have built a 15 years experience initially in the Back Office/Money Transfer area (with a brief excursus in the world of Corporate Actions: coupon and dividend claims) and, in the last 6 years, I have broadened my experience in Banking Operations.For more than 5 years I have worked in a mid-sized bank with large payment volumes (500/1000 flows per day) using various programs designed for: payment input (Target, Birel, RNI)/credit entries management, liquidity and account reconciliation, investigations and databases. The activity was connected to many financial products: FX deals, collateral and stock lending, swaps, securities settlement, structured finance and others. This experience gave me a large overview of the financial sector.Interaction with IT and accounting dpt. was very tight, contributing to a very fast experience growth both in my main area and in other activities such as accouting and project management.in 2008 I have moved into a smaller entity (BNY SA Lux. Milan) with less automated processes and smaller volumes (connected mostly to securisation and covered bonds). I wasTeam leader of a small Operations team (1 internal resource responding to me, plus an additional back up based in my former Head Office in Luxembourg): in this instance I have increased my responsibilities and management tasks. The office was built from scratch and I contribuited almost from the beginning to its consolidation. In the last 5 years and a half I had the chance to move towards a larger Operations Department into another foreign bank (The Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi UFJ Ltd, Milan Branch) where I can supervise many different products (remittances, forex and treasury, trade finance, "ricevute bancarie", direct debits, loans, taxes payments) and connected areas including project management.
