I have 30 years of experience in Latin American financial markets, having worked for 15 years at Credit Suisse and 4 years at Barclays. At CS, I was a very successful equity research analyst covering Latin American Financial Institutions. For 7 consecutive years (between 2002 and 2008), I was ranked at 1st or 2nd position in the Institutional Investor survey. I was also CS’s equity strategist and co-head of the equity research department in 2007 and 2008. In 2009, I have joined Barclays with the mandate to build their equity research team for Latin America. In a short period of time, Barclays’ team was ranked at the 6th position in the Institutional Investor poll for 2011. From 2013 until 2015, I have served as an independent board member at Even Construtora e Incorporadora. I have founded OHMRESEARCH, Latin America's first Online Research Marketplace in 2019.In 2024, I have joined CMSW to lead its expansion in Europe. CSMW is the leading independent instant payments processor in Brazil, accounting for 1/3 of volumes. With the advent of TIPS, we will leverage on our expertise from he buildup and growth of PIX and bring our instant payments solutions to Europe.I am passionate about banking and financial markets and open to new ideas and technologies. As a manager, I like to empower people and give them opportunity to grow. I am married with a couple of twins and enjoy traveling, skiing, tennis and cycling.
