With over 35 years of experience, I have served as a Senior Design Team Leader and Project Coordinator with an expertise in the collaborative process from concept design thru construction. Having contributed to notable projects that span from Miami, Mexico, Malaysia and Bilbao to Santiago Chile, I consider myself an expert in complex coordination and fluid communication. A few of my more notable career achievements have been successfully delivering the Latin American Headquarters for Coca Cola and Twin Luxury Residential Towers in Mexico City for Developers Metropolis in el DF and Hines in Houston. My most ambitious and challenging project to date has been serving as Senior Designer, Project Coordinator and eventually the Senior Fulltime Site Rep on site at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts in Miami. From the International Design Competition, March 1994 to Opening Night October 2006, I served continuously to assure that the level of expectations for the project and the highest level of quality were met for the diverse range of stakeholders. From private donors to the various public and municipalities, to the diverse set of artistic user groups and especially the growing Miami community, the goal was inclusivity. During my 72 months on site, I was able to successfully collaborate with the 3 Construction Manager joint venture, 72 subcontractors and over 5,000 construction workers, my most important project collaborators, and deliver this state of the arts facility. This and every projects I have had the privilege to serve on will continually represent the guiding force in my career for fluid communication, rigorous debate, mutual consensus and collaborative decision making in order to achieve the highest level of quality given any circumstance.
