About Roberto Fernández Jardón
Starting with an 6 months scholarship as a researcher in the University of Vigo, after finishing my degree, I moved to EFACEC Energia where I took a position as a Core Type Power Transformer Design Specialist for almost 8 years. During this period I worked on calculation and design, technical bids, contract & project management and factory inspections. It was a period full with contacts with dozens of utilities and contractors specifications, requests and design review meetings. Finally, I joined R&D department where I was developing new designs, calculation tools and managing R&D projects inside EU (H2020).In 2018 I joined FANOX Electronics as Application Engineer and lately assuming also functions as Product Manager for Protection and Control Relays and Communication devices.From August 2021 to September 2024, I was part of Cargill Bioindustrial family, joining the European team as Technical Leader for Europe and Turkey.Nowadays working as transformer consultant at DOBLE Engineering.
