Since September 2008: as head of DIA (Anticrime Investigation Direction) Preventive Investigations Sector in Milano I coordinated the contrast to the infiltration of the organized crime in public procurements and suspicious financial transactions. From June 2005 to September 2008: as Operative Unit Commander of Carabinieri Environmental Care Command, I managed the investigations against the environmental crime. From October 1999 to June 2005: as Carabinieri’s Presidential Security Unit Commander I was the person in charge of the close security of the Italian Republic President and other authorities during the official visits in Italy.1997-1999: Carabinieri Company Commander in Anagni (FR).1994-1997: Carabinieri Security Unit Commander in Rome where I was the person in charge of the protective services of the Council President, the President of the Senate, the Foreign and the Justice Ministers and several other institutional charges. In this position I managed more than 400 policemen engaged in various operational and logistics tasks and a fleet of over 100 special vehicles.
