Accomplished consultant for communication & online marketing.While still studying Journalism, and thanks to a mixture of luck, skill and youthful enthusiasm, I managed to join the founding team of El Mundo newspaper in Madrid shortly before its launch in 1989. There, I specialized in editing, wrote news and became editor-in-chief of its Basque Country edition.I knew about Internet in 1995, and immediately got hooked. I learned HTML, and in 2000 I was hired as head of content and digital strategist at Hispavista, one of the leading search engines and portals in the Spanish-speaking world.
