Current- Improved team productivity by mentoring engineers, maintaining regular check-ins with stakeholders, and ensuring alignment on goals while consulting for the California Department of Health Services (DHCS), the largest State, Local, and Education (SLED) organization in the US. Proactively participated in project planning, developed prioritized task lists, and implemented workflow improvements. Maintained architecture diagrams and artifacts, ensuring effective communication between product owners, business owners, UI/UX teams, and engineers.- Spearheaded the design, development, and implementation of multiple cloud-native applications in .NET Core for DHCS, applying principles of Clean Architecture, Dependency Inversion, and CQRS. Enhanced application quality through various design patterns, feature flagging, code quality enforcement, and comprehensive unit and integration testing frameworks.- Led the adoption of Extreme Programming (XP) principles, such as automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous refactoring, for clients including VMware, New York Department of Education, and the United States Space Force. Encouraged active communication, pair programming, and a commitment to code readiness, resulting in consistent, high-quality releases.
