As an Engineering Manager, I play a crucial role within the EurisIT BU, managing the project and work life of a team of approximately 25 Software Engineers, distributed across a portfolio of about ten different types of projects.My responsibilities range from allocating my team’s resources to provisioning the projects they can undertake. By working closely with the Sales and Delivery areas, I evaluate and execute the presale phase of the project in terms of technical aspects, budget, and cost management. I implement resource planning and allocation strategies in close collaboration with the Resource Management and Recruiting offices to sustainably increase the number of team members, with a strong focus on avoiding non-saturation and managing costs, aiming to increase the number of workable projects.During the project lifecycle, I monitor, with the support of team leaders, project progress, budget adherence, milestone achievement, and the quality of deliverables produced using tools like Jira, PowerBI, SonarQ, and internal company tools.I support Project Managers in analyzing and identifying potential issues in the technical implementation of the project and provide context-appropriate solutions.Last but not least, I analyze technological trends and the needs of our clients to propose training paths for team members aimed at their personal and professional growth.

In my role as Client Manager for one of our major corporate clients, I am responsible for managing formal relationships between the client and the supplier, anticipating the client’s needs, and effectively coordinating all remote teams and time & material resources at the client’s site. I manage a full contractors support team composed by 9 people of different seniority who work remotely from different offices (Padova, Trieste and Bologna) and completely from home since covid-19 breakdown. I take up the role of scrum master when needed, working to remove impediments and organize meetings with the customer’s teams.
