• Worked on a helpdesk, analysing and resolving computing issues, predominately wireless configuration.• Assisted students by phone and in person with software issues, and maintained the buildings hardware.

• This was a redesign and redevelopment project for a current system that was written in PHP using a MySQL database and the redevelopment was carried out in ASP.NET using Visual Basic with a SQL Server database.• I solely managed this project from gathering the user’s requirements through to the development stages.

• For my placement year, I worked in the school’s Marketing Team my main role was to carrying out market research both internally and externally to assist with future planning and development of the school’s courses.• Developed a database to store information gathered for the use of other staff members. This data was analysed and reports were constructed on request, to display this data in a useful format for the School’s Management Team. • Managed the school’s website, including the creation of staff profiles for all the academic members of staff at the University as well as identifying potential web based interactive advertising solutions. • Assisted and managed the marketing team during School and University open days. • Assisted and led school and college liaison events, including teaching web design and robocode to local school children.

• Whilst working for Tesco I worked for several departments, including serving customers on checkouts and in the garage and on security. • This role allowed me to develop on my team working, communication and interpersonal skills as I had constant interaction with both customers and other staff members.
