My main focuses within this role are;Supervising several undergraduate/ Masters/ PhD students. Monitoring of student's laboratory technique and discussion of ideas and results. Investigating the effects of hypergravity on plant growth.Studying plant cell division using confocal laser scanning microscopy and molecular biology.Characterizing the mechanical and structural features of plant cell walls by scanning electron microscopy, focused ion beam milling, and micro-indentation. Preparing/ participating in a wide range of experiments within the lab.Collating and analysing all data after experiments.. Collaborating with others within the team. External collaboration with PremierTech Canada, concerning the phyical properties of simbiotic fungus as an addative to fertiliser. Presenting own findings

My main Responsibilities were: Responsible for maintenance and management of stock items for several companies, including several pharmaceutical companies, e.g. Astra Zeneca and Smith & Nephew.Daily coordination between approximately 20-30 sites throughout the UK and Ireland.Involved a high level of customer service.Dealing directly with customers to source urgent items to prevent plant shut down. Proficiency with SAP (stock management and procurements programme) .Expected proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office. First point of contact for internal and external clients. Dealing with external suppliers and negotiating rates

Conducting several demonstrations of the micromanipulation technique for audiances of both students and visiting academics.
