I managed many stores for CVS/Health in my 13 years as a manager for them. The stores I managed were a range of high and low volume stores in both the front store and the pharmacy. After leaving CVS/Health in 2022, I joined Big Lots where I have been the store manager of the Danvers location. In my career I have taken over many stores that were poorly managed before and was able to bring the stores back in to a place where they were succeeding. I have increased sales, profits, customer service scores all while maintaining payroll budgets and lowering shrink. I have learned a lot about being a good leader both from my training and upper management, but also from my teams who work for me.Since I have been with Big Lots, I have had 2 successful years at my store with beating sales budgets each year, beating customer service budgets each year and lowering shrink each year. I have had the opportunity to train other new store managers so that they could be successful in their stores. I have also been given the opportunity to run and oversee the yearly inventory of 6 stores in my district, all of which ran very successfully. I am always looking for the next challenge and opportunity to grow. I love developing a team and being able to promote new leaders to better positions. I am a fast learner and not afraid of something new.
