Designed, optimized, and manufactured device components for Brevitest, a point-of-care, quantitative, ELISA based, diagnostic medical device in the company's portfolio, using CAD software and 3D printing.Assisted in research and writing for SBIR and NIH grants for various indications of interest to Brevitest, as well as other devices in the company portfolio including a chorioamniotic membrane anchor meant to be used during fetal surgery and a device meant to combat neurogenic bladder issues in pediatric patients.

Collaborated with process engineers in the development and revision of hydraulic stress calculation software, technical specifications, data sheets, standard drawings, and material requisitions on a pipeline project in the Dominican Republic.Conducted research on the state of the liquified natural gas market and how it related to ship bunkering across the Atlantic and Mediterranean seaboards for the project department while practicing Spanish in a workplace environment.

Developed a comprehensive orientation week for Rice University for all 1150 incoming undergraduate students, leading and directing a team of 33 Coordinators in planning their own aspects of their individual college orientations, and working alongside many figures in the University Administration including the Dean of Undergraduates to incorporate all necessary components of the week.

Planned and executed a comprehensive orientation week with two other coordinators, directly oriented 100 new students and indirectly introduced over 1000 new students to the academic, cultural, social, and co-curricular aspects of Rice University, in one of Rice’s most well-known programs, often cited as a key factor in Rice’s national ranking as #1 for student happiness.Managed a budget of $13,000 to plan and facilitate the campus-wide and college specific events comprising the multiday orientation while managing to cut expenses by 9% from the previous year.
