Managing SAP implementation projects

Fulfilling the role of Project Manager for SAP Ariba on client projects. Currently engaged on the Central Project of BP’s Ariba programme, the Ariba Commerce Automation project at Northern Gas Networks and the Supply Chain Collaboration project at GSK.

West Midlands

Managing the Ariba "upsteam" project at Jaguar Land Rover (Sourcing, Contract Management, Supplier Information/Performance Management.)This entails implementing the relevant Ariba modules and integration them with JLR's legacy systems and processes using SAP, Google Apps and other applications. Liaising with and coordinating actions with numerous vendors across various in-house and cloud-based technologies.

London And Chesterfield

Initially responsible for managing the Royal Mail side of the SAP systems separation of Post Office Limited (POL) from Royal Mail Group, with prime responsibility for Finance and HR systems. The role involved close liaison and coordination with my POL counterparts responsible for the implementation of their new stand-alone systems.Subsequently responsible for managing the requirements definition and design phases of the Royal Mail implementation of the SAP Ariba cloud-based procurement system.

Basingstoke

Project Managing 3 separate SAP projects within Sony Europe's HR Transformation Programme. These projects will implement Salary Review and Bonus functionality, Employee and Manager Self Service, and Document Management/Portal. These systems will support a new HR Service Centre in Turkey.

Now leading the project to implement Solution Manager across the SABMiller Worldwide SAP rollout project, and to support production SAP systems already in use. Integrating Solution Manager with ARIS process modelling, HP Quality Centre testing, plus the operational funnctionality of Solution Manager - ChaRM, etc

* Planning and project management of a team of Business Process experts supporting a major Pan-European SAP programme to roll out a template back-office solution and define and implement regional and local front-office functionality. * Integrating ARIS with Solution Manager, HP Quality Centre and other tools.

Project Manager for several SAP FI-CO projects including a migration to a new Chart of Accounts, the setup of new subsidiaries, a VAT rate change and the selection of a new Credit Management solution.

As well as managing SAP implementation projects and advising on project management methodologies and project governance, I also have expertise in the set up and use of Solution Manager, and the integration of ARIS with Solution Manager.

Responsible for Standards, Methodologies, Tools and Quality of all projects.Also still perform the role of Project Manager on major SAP implementations.Have done many SAP implementations in UK and Europe, in Manufacturing, Brewing, Retail and Construction industries
