We launched a new national nonprofit organization in August 2017 to support our vast network of Trips for Kids chapters, help to catalyze and grow new chapters, and get #morekidsonbikes. Trips for Kids' mission is to provide transformative cycling experiences through a network of chapters that promote healthy, recreational lifestyles, environmental awareness, and personal empowerment for young people of all communities, especially those most in need. Trips for Kids serves the most diverse population of kids of any national bicycle organization. In two years we built a new national umbrella organization, reached over a quarter of a million kids, launched 10 new chapters, restarted two chapters, and helped develop nine more chapters. We shipped support packages worth over $2,000 to every chapter and created a chapter support network and supply network.
