I have more than 25 years of leadership and distribution experience. I have worked collabortatively with Operations, Human Resources, Transportation and Sales to make a significant impact on the success of various teams and the company as a whole. I have been a cross functional leader in numerous areas, including leading a national safety team, a national inventory control team and being the operational representative on projects that created or updated several components of the warehouse management system used by the company. I partnered with Transportation and Sales to construct new freight and credit processes that reduced accommodation credits and increased on time delivery nationwide. I am versed in LEAN and other improvement principals and am adept at building trust with teams and analyzing data to find root cause.I have a passion for developing and mentoring people and have partnered with HR leadership to construct and facilitiate leadership training to make current leaders more effective and to help develop the next level of leadership for succession planning. As a Regional Director, I developed and implemented a leadership training curriculum for my facility leaders. I was selected as a mentor for the high potential program and have mentored promising individuals to help them achieve the success they targeted.I have a proven track record of success in helping my teams achieve outstanding results. As a facility leader, my facility team won the Best Performing facility in the network award seven times in ten years. The facility went 8 years without an OSHA reportable incident and had the highest order filling accuracy rating in the network for eleven straight years. As regional director, I have worked cross functionally on many projects in the inventory control, transportation, and sales areas to develop compelling service programs to offer the customer base.I am a collaborative leader, adept at building trust and influencing others.
