I was primarily tasked with civil apprehension of all shop lifters, theft prevention, case building, developing and maintaining a strong, trustful relationship with NYPD.Partnering with FOH leads to ensure the utmost safety of our staff, customers and clients. I would handle client escalations, conduct inventory audits as well as fire/active shooter drills. This was an interesting challenging role that developed my leadership, critical thinking, communication, relationship building and observational skills. I enjoyed the responsibilities and my time at GAP Inc. but I missed the field and decided to return. Here I obtained my security guard license as well as my CPR license. Both of these are expired.
