The focus of this role was to provide strong leadership for technology operations across 134 geographically dispersed locations, that were charged with providing critical ongoing support for this $1.1B organization. I held a critical position on the Corporate Executive Committee, with accountability for application development, help desk support, network and service administration, and computer operations. I was able to progress and advance the organizational-wide network to MPLS and secure a 15% cost saving in the process and lead the overhaul of the internal Accounts Payable systems to incorporate the use of a corporate purchase card to actualize a $1M annual cash refund.My major project work included leading the development of a data warehouse that was based around the use of daily mainframe data extracts alongside an integration with a new CRM. All this provided significant improvements to both customer and product reporting. I also headed up the building of a co-processing model that used the disaster recovery site as a fully operational datacenter and successfully upgraded disaster testing to a fully documented bi-monthly operational event that improved operational effectiveness, eliminated the need for outsource disaster recovery services, and captured $200K+ in annual cost savings. I was additionally able to create a modern, cutting-edge credit card system that met all PCI recommendations for the transmission of Level III data. This was able to deliver the optimal data interchange rate and improve business efficiencies.
