- The Mentor Resident Assistant position is intended to be performed by staff members who have excelled in their Resident Assistant role and who are dedicated to the success of the complex team. The MRA is intended to be a resource for fellow RAs, while providing peer leadership to create a highly functioning complex team, for the overall betterment of our residential communities.- All MRAs in each complex will be responsible for monthly team development. - MRAs will work with the leadership team of the complex to develop an on-going individual and group recognition program.- The MRAs in each complex are responsible for the implementation of on-going staff training at complex meetings. - The MRA will work with the Complex Coordinator in training the rest of the staff on items such as crisis management, communication techniques, leadership styles and, upcoming events in the program plan.- MRAs will serve on campus wide committees and chair complex committees or projects. They will be responsible for summarizing committee work and communicating it to their supervisors, when applicable.

- Resident Assistants (RAs) are essential employees of the Office of Residence Life. Supervised directly by a Residence Hall Coordinator or a Hall Director, the RA is expected to work toward the accomplishment of the goals and objectives of the Office of Residence Life.
