Robert co-founded a tech B2B start-up for the replacement windows and doors industry. He chose the technology, architected both the back end and front end and hired and managed a team of 6, working as Agile PM as well as Lead Javascript Developer. The product is about to go to market with a huge buzz around the groundbreaking photo realistic visuals and user experience he has built.

Robert is developing and marketing a social network for music festival fans worldwide. He was the first to integrate Facebook Connect with Social Engine, allowing a single sign on experience. The site takes no advertising and has built up a loyal folowing from those who eschew the over commercialised nature of some of the more well known festivals. Members can rate their favourite festivals, resulting in the Festival Charts which have become a respectable gauge of the festivals that have kept their grass roots appeal.

In 2005, Robert single-handedly developed an online Workforce Management System to allow OMNI FM to allocate agency employees to hotels, authorise timesheets, create invoices and process payroll. The system now manages over £20m of payroll & invoicing, used in over 70 large hotels.In 2012 he oversaw the funding, resourcing and further development to take the product to market.

Robert hand-coded the online quotation system for re-sellers of high end replacement windows and doors, enabling the company to grow to £5m turnover within 3 years. As IT Director, he consulted in the acquisition of subsidiaries and managed a team to integrate and develop IT systems across the group.
