I have been a member of the Atlanta Ballet Orchestra, Atlanta Opera, Greenville Symphony Orchestra, Columbus Symphony Orchestra and Augusta Symphony. As a freelancing artist, I have performed with the Kaiserslautern Symphony in Kaiserslautern, Germany, Colorado Springs Philharmonic, Charleston Symphony Orchestra, Alabama Symphony Orchestra, Savannah Philharmonic Orchestra and Utah Festival Opera and Music Theatre, among other ensembles.

Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States

To encourage developing string players, I mentored up to 45 students in the greater Colorado Springs area by expanding their knowledge of their instruments, introducing solo and orchestral literature and improving their musical prowess within current concert repertoire. I visited 2 string programs during the school day at Coronado High School and the Widefield School District #3 as well as 3 groups of violists within the Colorado Springs Philharmonic Youth Symphony.

Johns Creek

Teaching 6 classes of 5th through 12th grade students, I conducted 4 string ensembles of up to 51 students and 2 guitar classes with up to 21 students, annually. To overhaul a program in disarray, I dramatically improved musical quality by showcasing the arts program through commissioned work, inviting guest artists, featuring up to 10 student soloists and inspiring 35% of the entire 5th grade student body to join the strings program within 1 year.Highlights of my success include:⋆ In collaboration with my 3-person arts department, I commissioned NPR-featured composer, Michael Kurth, to write "In the Beginning" on behalf of the school and performed the world premiere in May 2019.♘ I conceived, developed and updated 3 brand new social media accounts, including Instagram, Twitter and Facebook, for the orchestral program that attracted 230+ followers in 14 months.⌨ To incorporate technology into the classroom, I leveraged 6 music software programs, Sight Reading Factory, Smart Music, Musescore, Sound Trap, Musictheory.net and Schoology, into distance learning for all students due to Covid-19 for 3 months.

To encourage young musicians in a diverse population, I directed 3 string ensembles of 50 students and taught up to 90 music appreciation students, daily.Features of my achievements include:♘ In collaboration with a 3-person arts department team, I conceived the plan, developed the schedule and managed the event that enabled up to 200 students to perform at the World Strides Tour in Chicago, Illinois.➚ I increased student enrollment by 36% within 1 year through clear communication of expectations, an environment of mutual respect and the introduction of guest clinicians who inspired budding musicians.➟ To expand their knowledge in an unfamiliar subject during 3 music appreciation classes, I familiarized 350+ students with a new composer each week.

I assessed customer needs, suggested targeted insurance policies, created legal documents and input credit card payments that supported 900+ customers affiliated with the US military and Department of Defense personnel who were located across 50+ countries.My highlighted accomplishments include:✩ Earning the top sales position in 2014, I ensured customer success through clear communication and procured an average of 60 new contracts per month. ➟ To streamline the process of inputting documentation and conserve resources, I uploaded physical papers to an online server for 700+ new accounts.

As an interim violist for a 1-year contract, I performed with soloists such as Itzhak Perlman and Augustin Hadelich and played in 150+ masterworks and youth concerts during a 39-week season.

Increasing students’ understanding of strings music from basic to advanced concepts, I regularly coached students of the Dickerson and Dodgen Middle Schools as well as McEachern, Kell and Milton High Schools, a sections of 8-10 violists for the Emory Youth Orchestra and Metropolitan Youth Orchestra of Atlanta and adjudicated violin and viola auditions with up to 30 annual candidates for the ensemble led by Dr. Richard Prior.
