About Robert Riley

I am a self motivated and dedicated health and safety professional having worked at a high level and delivered health and safety (HS) programs and developed EHS cultures across a broad scope of industries, environments and cultures in a Health and Safety (EHS) role.Health and Safety has been my main field of expertise for many years and I have been fortunate enough to have many opportunities and challenges that have tested my skills and allowed me to learn and develop further within HSE across a very broad scope of industries, environments and cultures such as the power industry, food manufacturing and agriculture, oil and gas as well as engineering manufacturing. This has required a great deal of collaboration and building relationships in order to influence positive outcomes with both internal and external stakeholders and regulatory bodies.I have always adopted a ‘hands on’ approach to ensure a full understanding of the challenges within any environment or culture that I have responsibility for. This has allowed me to develop pragmatic strategies and solutions based on realistic and accurate information and data.My work has been within organisations having well matured EHS systems and cultures, organisations seeking to improve their performance and businesses with little or no HS systems or culture.I have supported and assisted businesses in the identification of strategic goals and the development of the road map the achieve those goals and objectives.

Listed skills include Safety Management Systems, Occupational Health, Risk Assessment, Accident Investigation, and 46 others.
