Robert Roberson is the Chairman of the Board at David Allen Company, one of the nation’s largest marble, granite, tile and terrazzo contractors. The firm, established in 1920, is headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina with offices in Washington, D.C, Columbia, SC, Miami, FL, and Birmingham, AL. Mr. Roberson joined David Allen Company in 1957 and became the owner and President in 1967. He has led David Allen to where it is today by employing exceptional leadership and management personnel as well as providing trade skills unequalled in the industry. As an active member of the National Tile Contractor Association, the American Subcontractor Association, and the Marble Institute of America, Mr. Roberson has served in a variety of roles as Secretary, Chairman, and President. He was the recipient of the 1985 NTCA Tile Man of the Year award and the American Subcontractors Association Award for Excellence in 1994. He is also the Chairman of the Emmanuel College Endowment Committee and was named Emmanuel’s College Alumnus of the Year in 1996.
