I was hired in London and moved to EMEA - Based in Athens Greece, technical team subsequently moved back to Lewisham, London HQ in 1987 and then asked to transfer to Citibanks NYC - 111 Wall Street and 460 West 33rd in 1988/89.While In Greece for Citi, I ran a Systems programming and technical support team supporting Citi's branches all over North Africa, MiddleEast and Europe. This team was relocated back to London. I then moved to the Technical Audit team and performed many internal audits on Citi's IT systems. I then relocated to NYC and ran a team within Citi Commercial group focused on IT, Security, Contingency and Audit. This team received acknowledgements by senior manage for successfully deploying the IT environment in a real-life issues with the ConEd fire that knocked out the power in Wall Street. The success of my contingency plan avoided a financial disaster at Citi. -
