My latest project involved a Cobol/RPG developed medical billing system that is new to this organization with no one on staff with any prior technical knowledge. I have been documenting processes and debugging modifications made to the software in preparation for the upcoming ICD 10 version of the medical billing standards. During my time with Concentrix I utilize my SQL RPG, RPGLE, SQLRPGLE, CLP, CLLE, Powerbuilder and MSSQL skills assisting in file conversion, bug fixes, and enhancements. There are six (6) different Iseries partitions in use. Aldon and Hawkeye are used in this organization with controlled environments for Dev, Model office and Production. The extensive use of SDLC is involved on a daily basis. I sometimes write TSD's (Technical Specification Documents) and sometimes work from them. In addition I develop unit testing plans; and at times execute unit testing that were written by others. My analytical skills are utilized on a daily basis along with my SQL skills to aid in the analysis. I perform these duties remotely 100% of the time. Show less

I was responsible for applying all patches, version releases and annual regulatory upgrades. Modules in use when I was employed here were GL, AP, Asset Management, HR, Payroll, Purchasing, and Requisition Center. I was personally responsible for all software creation and maintenance utilizing RPGLE, SQLRPGLE, CLP, CLLE, Perl and Alpha V. As dictated by company direction, errors or problems that occurred; the Lawson software was augmented with an emphasis on not altering the base software to meet our needs. This was accomplished by heavily utilizing the INFOR provided batch interfaces as much as possible to deliver the desired result while keeping the Lawson package easily upgradable. In addition I performed daily adhoc data extraction using SQL to excel spreadsheets or CSV files for user departments.Using .ASP, JSP, MSSQL 2008R2 and DB2 I maintained two separate web based applications that help drive our company, the .asp Web application funnels almost $500 Million of our yearly sales. During my time here I implemented EDI on Lawson with our largest vendor Sysco which we were the only company using Lawson’s punch-out software with Sysco. We had two Iseries (AS/400’s) located in our DR site. A test machine and a production machine, I was responsible for their daily operation, upgrades, backup and restore and maintenance upgrades. During my time here I automated more functions than I can list here increasing productivity, reducing wait time and increasing system dependability. In addition I was responsible for all Lawson security, Lawson software setup, Lawson upgrades, and our DR site. I performed my duties at Centerplate 80% remotely the balance at the office. Show less

All computers, communications, phone switched, and cell phones, office equipment and security are under my direction. I have a 2 person staff 1 handling most of the programming, the other performing network services. Although the title implies a non technical position, I am hands on day in day out, doing programming and network activities including web administration, mail administration, software development and DBA work; whatever needs to be done at the time. There are approximately 18 servers on the network running mostly windows 200 server, with a few windows 2003 servers, we use exchange 2000 for mail. I took an operation that had 33 computers, no servers, no Internet access, and no e-mail in 1999 and made it into a full functioning 21st century IT department. We currently have a fully managed network through AT&T, with a self managed, self provided firewall. I have no operating budget but spend around $400,000 per year to keep operations going. Purchasing new equipment on an as needed basis. I currently write code in Power Builder 8 and Microsoft C++.Server Show less
