Rehabbed & Ready is a one-of-a-kind program designed to create opportunities for Detroit homeownership, reduce residential blight, and restore home values. The program was developed by the Rocket Community Fund and DLBA. The program uses philanthropic funding from the Rocket Community Fund and other sources to renovate and sell homes at market value. In October 2023, the program celebrated its 100th renovation.

These programs included but were not limited to homes purchased through the DLBA’s Auction and Direct-Sale programs, and homes under legal contract through the Nuisance Abatement Program. Support included supervising a team of compliance representatives that advised and coached buyers through completion of the rehab. Our team enforced compliance rules and generated weekly milestone reports for evaluation by DLBA leadership. Between 2014 and 2019, our team monitored almost 9,500 houses and over 4,000 renovated homes graduated from DLBA oversight.
