I dove head-first into the fast-paced world of nimble start-ups, mastering programming, networking, and software development as the industry exploded around me. After solidifying my reputation as a subject-matter expert in multiple IT disciplines, I pivoted to the business side of the equation at two Fortune 500 corporations. Drawing on this strong technical foundation, I wrote the playbook for building profitable partnerships and joint ventures, negotiating multimillion-dollar acquisitions, and integrating valuable new IP into our enterprise architecture. This culminated in receiving an award from the CEO of Lenovo for engineering the Motorola acquisition, a billion-dollar deal.I translate easily between tech-jargon, sales-pitch, and business-speak to effectively evangelize our portfolio and advocate for our best interests at the negotiation table. This includes building relationships with business leaders and innovators in other cultures and countries. At Lenovo, I jumped at the chance to travel abroad, and even completed a yearlong rotation in Beijing to stand up a new regional team.
