My name is Robert S. Hall, and I am the owner and President of Horizon Systems. My business is based upon providing solutions to companies, schools, and organizations using Information Technology.Essentially, I work to understand problems faced by customers, and find valid and attractive solutions to solve their problems. Having the opportunity to work with several hundred companies over many years has provided me first hand knowledge, which is tempered into all the solutions I provide.I've served the information technology sector for more than 35 years as a software developer, administrator, pioneer, trainer, architect, and systems integrator. All the time, working to simplify complex problems and reduce operational costs through automation. I currently work with several Fortune 1000 companies routinely recommending solutions and negotiating their acquisitions of technology from major IT vendors. I also work with smaller businesses keeping their technology simple, effective, useful, and affordable. A large portion of my day is spent talking with people about the problems they face, deciding upon what are acceptable solutions, and removing the obstacles which are preventing it from becoming reality. Being the owner of a company, you do have a different view of what happens around you. You are also more understanding of what other business owners are facing, and how to solve their problems in the manner you would want it solved for yourself. I'm very proud of team surrounding me. Without them, we never would have been able to achieve and build what we have in the last 13 years as a company. Lord knows I would not have been able to do this without their contributions and guidance. I've lived in the Columbus Ohio area all of my life.
