• Developed new control systems for product testing using Cypress Semiconductor PSOC (Programmable System on a Chip) and National Instruments hardware (FPGA, RIO, and DAQ).
• Designed an electronic driver board that runs 32 automotive injectors at different firing modes, frequencies and duty cycles. Reduced cost from $28K to $3K, saving $554K on 20 driver boards
• Invented a “Vehicle Airflow and Gas Injection System.” This product was developed using PLCs, Mass Flow technology, custom designed electronic timing boards and HMI written in C++. This unit can be used for simulating.
• Invented an “Ultra-Low Gas Injection System.” Equipment was designed using Mass Flow technology, PLC and custom designed hardware for injecting gas at 1ppm (+/-.3%) at different flow rates. This is used for determining.
• Developed a sequencer controller using FPGA technology to interface to an external vehicle controller to simulate vehicle commands to engine fuel delivery systems.
• Implemented PLC controller for a H2/CO delivery system for vehicle while under test.

• Manufacturing Engineer 1995 - 1997 Trained, developed, and supervised electricians. Provided direct engineering input in the implementation of control systems using Allen Bradley Programmable Logic Controller.
• Developed a production-plating machine monitoring system (MMI) for comprehensive tracking of machine performance.
• Designed temperature, motor, mixture, exhaust, and burner controls for aluminum melt facility as part of team managing the $16M installation of 16 new die cast machines.
• Wrote and installed monitoring/tracking program. Developed and implemented robotic use in the transport of castings from die cast to trim press, eliminating reducing HR requirements and improving operator safety.
• Part of a team which designed software for automating 9 CNC machines serviced by 3 Automatic Guided Vehicles (AGC) resulting in a successful $10M Flexible Machining Center.
