The pilot was considered a success, and feedback on the training was positive.• Participated in the Quality Assurance process (QA), including writing project management documents (business and software requirements, master, unit and system test plans for various application changes) and providing analysis. Also practiced full life cycle testing (FLT). The business unit achieved SEI Level 3.• Maintained many AOS Peripheral accounting programs for Y2K compliance, and the introduction of the New York Variable Universal Life product, which required a front-end replacement of Prudential’s General Ledger System (PGLS), as well as the addition of several Prudential accounting requirements for recording financial transactions resulting from Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) settlements.• Converted the AOS Dividend Table programs to the Change Man platform. Also helped in processing these programs for the 2000 AOS Dividend rate revision.

• Centralized the New Business Agency Status Record in the Corporate Satellite office in Roseland. These file are maintained in production in three locations around the country. Initiated a project to combine these files into one central file containing all records. This created the ability to run company-wide MIS reports which were not available before.• Wrote several programs for the Client Acquisition Project (CAP) which provided various departments with information on various insurance contracts, such as Call-backs, Business Quality, and Multiple Proceeds.• Helped to design a system and programs to track percentage of insurance policies sold by agent that were still in force. Was part of a team which received a Quality Service Leader award.• Communication with wide range of in-house customers at various levels in the company.• Wrote a program to match and merge various New Business outputs (contracts, policy schedule, riders and endorsements) into one print stream. Also designed a print utility to print them on the local laser printer and to set up an accounting system to track the production of these computer-generated forms. This system has been updated several times to save time and resources.• Interaction with contract section and quick turnaround in service resulted in a Quality Service Leader award.• Wrote and maintained COBOL programs which provided actuarial rates and values for agents’ rate books.
