Manage the Technology sleeves of the Equity Income portfolios. Responsible for generating alpha in the Technology, Media and Telecom sectors across US, Canadian, and Global mandates, covering Large-cap, Mid-cap, and Small-cap names. Manage the Derivative sleeve across the funds to enhance yield through option strategies. Also responsible for establishing a Quantitative Machine Learning platform to assist in portfolio management decisions.

Assist in managing the Technology sleeves of the Equity Income portfolios. Responsible for generating alpha in the Technology sector across US, Canadian, and Global mandates, covering Large-cap, Mid-cap, and Small-cap names in Tech sub-sectors including Software, Hardware and Semiconductors. Manage the Derivative sleeve across the funds to enhance yield through option strategies. Also responsible for establishing a Quantitative Machine Learning platform to assist in portfolio management decisions.

Serve as the firm’s Information Technology sector specialist covering the technology portion of all funds with an Equity Income mandate (total AUM of over $40B), and responsible for generating alpha by delivering high conviction investment recommendations for the funds.

Served as the firm’s Investment Analyst focused on the technology sector, overseeing a range of mandates (Growth, Value, or Dividend) for the technology portion of all funds (Sector, Global, US and Canadian funds with a total AUM of $70B), and delivering high conviction investment recommendations to portfolio managers based on key investment trends in the sector.

Provided research coverage for a portfolio of mining companies with a focus on precious metals. Constructed detailed financial models, performed due diligence, and wrote research reports to support investment recommendations on the sector.

Built financial models to evaluate the performance of publicly-traded technology companies, and prepared extensive research reports based on the perceived investment impact of key events and trends in the software sector, using industry insight and my computer engineering background in support of the investment analysis.

Managed numerous project initiatives, defining project workflow decomposition, task delegation, and test scheduling while maintaining authority for the timely, complete, and accurate delivery of project milestones within tight delivery timeframes. Delivered key technological designs including a memory controller for use in mobile devices, a display controller utilized across the PC graphics portfolio, and the PCI Express Bus technology in partnership with Intel.
