Led news gathering operations in Western Australia, determining which stories to cover, assigning reporters and camera operators, dealing with prospective news-makers and planning all news coverage.Frequently acted in Executive Producer’s role, responsible for news bulletin management.Deputy News Director for seven years, responsible for staff recruitment, development and assessment.Supervised an expanded production desk for two years as Senior Chief of Staff, responsible for network liaison across other programs, including Breakfast, The Circle, Morning News, Negus, The Project and Late News.Established and administered all social media for Ten News in Western Australia, building a popular Facebook page linked to a Twitter account, creating a YouTube page, and contributing to the network’s social media committee and company website.
