    Following on from the strategic planning process which I instigated in the role previous to this (see Business Development & Marketing Manager post), the partnership decided to merge with another large law firm and I assisted the managing partner in this process. After analysing the two firms’ marketing strategies I created the marketing plan to reflect the new firm’s goals and objectives. In addition to marketing, I undertook a change management role and worked with the managing partner to bring together the operations of the two firms to ensure a smooth transition. This was an intensely busy period during which I helped launch the business into new areas, promoting new services and to new target groups.     Both solely and as part of the wider marcoms team, I researched and produced marketing materials for the global launch of a range of products for the worldwide market leader in ATM self service, NCR - a Fortune 500 company. This included creating promotional videos, brochures and CDs, several of which won industry awards, with external agencies for the NCR sales team to use as sales aids with its banking customers. I assisted the marcoms manager in his role organising PR events for the UK release of the products, which involved hosting a press conference and a feature on the BBC’s Working Lunch programme. Following the departure of the marcoms manager, I carried out both his role and my own. This required managing the global marcoms budget.
