My experience is diverse and spans roles in a range of organisations from startups to globals to boards, and everywhere in between. I've managed Enterprise level Commercial, Government and Education teams including a range of Industry specific experience across Mining/Defence/Resources Energy/Utilities/Retail/Telco, and now managing a National Specialist Security sales team. I have held many varied positions during my career and have a keen interest in business outcomes, security/risk, sustainability and good governance. I am a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and love strategy and strategic planning.In addition, I have worked as an independent consultant across several disciplines including ICT, business, management, governance and executive coaching. I have held several advisory roles to State and Federal Government/s and I have travelled with, and/or on behalf of, various governments to Israel, China and the USA on trade delegations and Leadership Study tours.These varied roles have given me knowledge and experience at a range of levels to understand local, national and global trends, business and leadership priorities and the broader potential of technology as an enabler for real, secure business outcomes and transformation. I am particularly passionate about helping solve business challenges with the “potential” technology solutions can offer. Ensuring a balanced approach of secure, good governance with a “growth mindset” - challenging traditional thinking with managed risk to ensure business is secure yet doesn’t get left behind. Corporate responsibility, shared risk, renewable energy, life long learning and sustainability are also high on my agenda. I’ve had active roles in several industry and education focused organisations like North Metropolitan TAFE, National Smart Energy Council , Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA) and the Australian Israel Chamber of Commerce (AICC).
