Jamie Robertson has over 40 years of experience designing and deploying embedded electronic systems for the music technology and entertainment industries. He served 20 years as a research & development executive for Walt Disney Imagineering, developing key technologies including the industry’s first interactive on-board audio system for roller coasters and theme park ride vehicles. Jamie has consulted with major music technology companies, designing hardware and software for milestone electronic musical instrument products, including the Synclavier Digital Music System, the Linn9000 drum machine and most recently a line of popular wireless musical keyboards. He has designed interactive exhibits for a number of museums, including the Boston Children’s Museum and the New York Hall of Science. Jamie has a degree in Engineering Physics, and is also an accomplished guitarist, composer and recording artist.
