Consulting with startups and large companies to implement and refine their user research process and practice, and help put out quality experiences/products. Key projects include: Patient discovery research in healthcare to launching a company’s first ever self-service usability testing program.

- Built and scaled an org-wide usability and qualitative research program- Collaborated cross functionally with teams to shape and execute research plans based on key business objectives at all phases of the product life cycle- Conducted ethnographic/field research to understand new user groups and problem spaces (ex. port of LA/LB)-Implemented human-centered design into product development and strategy, to create a consistent experience across products, increase empathy, and foster collaboration.- Synthesized complex information into clear and actionable recommendations to stakeholders- Conducted internal data analysis to support research initiatives- Designed and programmed quantitative surveys, interpreted data, and produced story-driven reports- Evangelized research insights throughout the company, presenting findings, running workshops and embodying the voice of the user- Established company’s first Customer Advisory Board to increase visibility of users’ needs and pain points

- Integral partner with design, product, strategy and marketing teams to ensure that user needs were addressed throughout the customer experience- Led design research, in-person qualitative interviews, onsite and remote usability testing, competitive benchmarking, and quantitative research studies- Owned research projects from end-to-end, matching methods to business needs, creating research plans, recruiting participants, conducting the research, analyzing and reporting out results, then leading activation workshops with stakeholders- Managed Edmunds Insiders online community research panel and launched engaging activities that informed product decisions- Supported the release of a major redesign of Edmunds.com (E17), through discovery research, journey mapping, segmentation, and in-person testing via weekly design sprints- Elevated the role of UX within company culture by partnering with designers and PMs to demonstrate the business impact of user friendly design
