Born and raised in the streets of New York City by a single parent mother, Robert began his career in the music business as an intern at Calliope studios in New York, NY. As the visionary thought leader of Wealth Nation Entertainment, he orchestrated a major label distribution deal for his company Wealth Nation Entertainment via INgrooves/Universal Music Group Distribution (UMGD). Robert has held several major positions in the industry throughout his illustrious career including: V.P. of A&R with IMG recordings, which is distributed via Warner Bros., Sony, EMI, and Universal, E.V.P. of Corporate Affairs/Strategic partnerships for HYPE Magazine and THM Media. He has recently been appointed by President and Vice President of Bungalo/Universal Music Group Distribution as Regional Director for South Regional Markets. “I was Gunplay’s (MMG/DEF JAM) Business Manager at the time he got his solo deal with Def Jam and instrumental in working with his team to finalize that deal. I negotiated and secured with Def Jeff the deal for New York rapper “COMPUTA” to get his record placement with BET on the new Wayans Bros. Show “Next Generation Wayans,” which aired in 2013. I’m also Nancy Denise (Bad Girls Club/ATL) business manager and worked with her on closing her new deal with Oxygen network for her own show. I orchestrated a multi-album deal for multi-platinum selling recording artist’s SOUL FOR REAL with IMG/WARNER and recently signed one of my flagship artists "Daisy Grant" who performed at the White House on April 21, 2014 for the 136th easter egg roll with Dougie Fresh and Dr. Oz. I have personally secured over 20 major label distribution deals for independent artists in 2013 with INgrooves/UMGD via a sub-label deal with 5150 Media-John Ferguson V.P. of Bungalo/Universal.
