During this time, I was deployed 23 out of 37 months, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. My duties included management of the tactical intelligence infrastructure, through coordination with multiple government agencies, and strategic planning through the use of logistical support and measured asset control and allocation. Efforts in Iraq culminated with the closure of Camp Al Fallujah, and the coordination of moving of the Commanding General's intelligence infrastructure over 100 miles to a strategically placed cold-site aboard Camp Al Asad. I was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal for the providing key planning guidance, executing and completing the mission, while maintaining intelligence reporting up time, 100% accurate accountability of classified assets, and managing employee morale and welfare during a critical moment of battlefield exposure. -
