• Hired at aviation startup ICON Aircraft to bring technical knowledge of aircraft new product supply chain development. ICON's mission is to bring the innovative A5 amphibious light sport aircraft, currently under development, to market. • Responsible for sourcing all systems (flight controls, avionics, landing gear, propulsion, hardware, discrete electronics, etc) for the production A5 aircraft in anticipation of an unprecedented production rate necessary to meet the A5's high demand and existing order book. Also responsible for assisting flight test team on sourcing issues and procurement challenges on maintaining and modifying the A5 proof of concept aircraft currently in flight test• Responsible for creation of ICON's procurement procedures, processes, policies, and team in time for production in late 2013.
