The staff consists of Project Engineers, discipline engineers and designers. Drove forecasting methodology and changes to better align engineering tasks with schedule. Helped develop a new cost reporting structure that focuses on providing a general overview of costs to each client PM. Improved the overtime request system used to capture efforts needed to stay on schedule and cost. Rolled out the estimating tools in order to improve forecasting information and reduce project variability.

MANDATE: I was brought in to bring discipline and consistency between multiple plants executing CAPEX and OPEX projectsIn this role I helped create a front end loading process that optimized the use of EPCM company. Led the successfully transition from one on-site and external EPCM company to another. In order to improve consistency and on-boarding new employees I created a PM training manual. For a period of time I managed two plant sites PMs, EPCM, Construction Managers, and on-site construction companies. While in the role I have generated, maintained and proposed annual capital budgets. This role worked closely with Process Technology group and site leadership to identify opportunities for improvement and projects to bring forth for funding. I guided the creation of a structured reporting systems for cost and schedule reporting by on-site construction company. Led the development of bi-weekly reporting structure and format by on-site engineering company for reporting of large portfolio of projects.

MANDATE: I was relocated from Chicago to Houston to execute a large portfolio of CAPEX projects for an upcoming 75M TARAs a PM I successfully executed 30 projects of various sizes within a short span of time. This required the coordination with several EPCM resources and construction supervisors. Each project required me to generate define level scope, seek funding approval from board, monitor the costs, follow the execution, and make strategic moves to come under budget. The role also required me to execute a successful six week TAR of multiple electrical projects within 10 million budget.

MANDATE: I was brought in to manage a global, remote team and design enterprise software to support startup's visionManaged the development of an IT project for a start-up company that collects raw data on key criminal and political individuals around the world, provides search capabilities of this database, and lastly establishes the risk level of vendors for companies in order to comply with federal laws. Led a team of international developers in nudging the software to establish the vendor risk level. I developed a FICO-like risk score based on the company's country of origin, board and management make-up, and known risks.

I started out as an entry level Electrical Engineer, Technical Assistant, out of college. In this role I solved any electrical problem that needed research. In the Power System Specialist role I coordinated the efforts of a group of technicians to analyze the plant relays, motors, breakers and perform maintenance task and eliminate potential problems. As Electrical Supervisor I continued engineering solutions to plant problems. At times I ran major turn around efforts. The engineering manager role allowed me to create engineering teams that worked on solving major problems within the plant. Some of the teams were created for a short duration and involved supervisors and hourly crafts while other teams were solely staffed with engineers of different disciplines. While in this role, I filled in for the Superintendents within the Power and Utilities groups.
