I am passionate about helping entrepreneurs create meaningful businesses.As the founder and Executive Director of Sierra Commons, I am surrounded by hundreds of inspired entrepreneurs. Helping them plan, launch, and grow their businesses is my professional calling. I am also bringing my expertise to Small Business Development Center clients throughout the Sierra who are taking their enterprises to the next level. My for-profit marketing communications company Velocity7 assisted corporations, government organizations, NGO's, and local Nevada County "mom and pop" businesses with planning, outreach, marketing, and public relations. Some of my favorite times in the 2000s involved creating integrated marketing campaigns for Airstream and The Sierra Nevada Conservancy.I was also Executive Director of the Nevada County Economic Resource Council, Development Director for Zinfandel Advocates and Producers, and have launched several businesses of my own, including grant writing, tourism, technology, and nutrition.
