Robert is an experienced executive in the field of information and data governance, currently serving as the Executive Director in the Treasury Board Secretariat (TBS), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). He graduated from the IM/IT Management Development Program in 2012 and has over 20 years of experience in government, including roles in information management, information technology, and cyber security.In his current role, Robert leads the development of a framework for information and data governance, working to harmonize policies and practices and to modernize data and information management as strategic assets. He is also responsible for implementing the data strategy for digital government. He previously served as Executive Director of Digital Policy, where he was responsible for developing strategic partnerships, advancing the strategic agenda for digital government, and leading the creation of a Digital Policy Division within OCIO.Robert is passionate about shaping the future of digital government and leverages his strong horizontal network to drive innovation and progress.
