My main areas of focus were on routing and switching infrastructure, including WAN / LAN design and maintenance. I was the primary engineer for replacing the core routing and switching infrastructure throughout the hospital system, comprising of 16 major healthcare facilities with approximately 150 connected smaller clinics. I designed and built a set of 6 rapid response kits for backup connectivity in case of fiber cuts, circuit interruptions, or damage to infrastructure, utilizing 4G and DMVPN. I designed and implemented a remote connectivity solution for remote call center agents and remote nursing support using Meraki MX and Z3 devices to provide redundant VPN connectivity to remote users. I helped support the 3 main data centers, which are comprised of Avaya VSP and Cisco Nexus / ASR hardware. I was also involved in some programming (mostly tool building) utilizing Python and various APIs.

Responsible for research, development, and administration of UCCX call center applications and solutions. I design and implement infrastructure upgrades for routing, switching, and integration with Data Center technologies. I assist in monitoring and diagnosing network and VoIP issues using Cacti, Netflow, Cisco RTMT, and logs from servers and Cisco IOS.
