Passionate about transforming education through technology, I am a Learning Technologist and E-learning Specialist with a commitment to innovation, policy advocacy, and design excellence. With a huge interest in ICT for agriculture, Responsive & Accessible Web Design, and e-learning Content Development, I am dedicated to advancing the field of digital education.Strong engineering professional with a Bsc Computer science focused on Computer Science from Makerere University and Master of Information Technology from Uganda Technology and Management UniversityHe possesses 12+ years of working experience in both the private and public sectors. Robert worked with Makerere University college of computing and UTAMU in the education sector as course instructor and lecturer. He is a certified ICDL trainer with over 8 years training experience and also an e-learning systems developer and trainer. Robert has trained members of the Uganda Police Force, Médecins Sans Frontières Uganda, US Embassy Uganda, Mastercard Foundation - MAK, UNESCO, Uganda Registration Services Bureau, PPDA Uganda, Government of South Sudan officials among others.Experience & Achievements:• Leading e-learning initiatives at Kabale University to enhance the quality of education through technology.• Spearheading the integration of ICT tools for agriculture training, bridging the gap between technology and farming practices.• Ensuring web design standards compliance for user-friendly and accessible educational platforms.• Collaborating with educators to develop engaging e-learning content, promoting effective learning outcomes.• Advocating for policies that promote equitable access to quality education through digital means.Robert believes that technology has come to stay and everyone deserves to have a fair understanding of the basics.
