Par's main business was providing niche hardware and SaaS applications to large government establishments such as the US Army, Navy, and Marines. At Par I was responsible for running two SaaS applications, SureCheck and PixelPoint. PixelPoint is an inhouse developed PoS solution, at the time of my departure we had 50+ PixelPoint clients and climbing. SureCheck was a cloud solution with two major clients, Walmart and Wegmans. The software worked with our proprietary temperature measuring hardware to automatically take temperatures of foods in the deli or prepared food sections of Walmart and Wegman grocery stores.• Maintained a Hyper-V cluster for our PixelPoint customers including deploying software updates, windows updates, and monthly maintenance achieving 99.99% uptime.• Successfully architected and orchestrated a migration strategy for all PixelPoint clients into an AWS infrastructure from Hyper-V.• Utilizing AWS infrastructure, successfully designed and deployed cloud infrastructure (S3, RDS, Cloud Watch, Elastic Beanstalk (API), for our largest SureCheck client, Wegmans.
